Me after another lovely day with the kids...

Days are so nice here, so rewarding! I woke up this Monday morning, keep in mind that I don't even drink coffee in the mornings here. I get up, have some water and a banana or two, walk to the bus station... It's warm and not many people on the streets, so nice. The dogs are doing their ususal routines, taxis and buses are slowing down and are very kean to get you onboard.

I get to my stop, Huanchaquito, walk for a few minutes and then I arrrive to the Wawa Wasi, open the door and there will almost always be a few kids there already. The day includes playing with the kids, reading books (good practise for my Spanish), painting, dancing, feeding them and changing diapers.

The Wawa Wasi doesn't have a floor, it's just like a plastic carpet. It's a average sized room with two pots in the corner where the kids can go to the toilette.

There are only a few toys and most of them are very old and used, broken or pieces missing, these kids don't know anything else so they don't complain. These kids are so wonderful and I know already that I will miss them alot when I leave...
