Had a wild weekend! Survived Monday in school and found this car on the way home, maybe something for you baby?

It's not too warm, not too humid and not too windy... I am heading towards the "beach"... more like the rocks but still nice!

Indian Empress and Moussaka!

Today have been a nice and lazy day. Went down for a swim and saw Indian Empress arrive, a 95 m long superyacht. Then I went back and successfully made a homemade Moussaka that could feed a whole family. Guess I will have food for the rest of the week...

Busy busy!

Ok so this week has been very busy, everything is so new... exhausted and it's only Wednesday! I am loving it though and.... I am not the oldest one in the class or the only mature student, we are a few :)

A few things I have learned about Maltese people:

• They are super friendly and speak English with a very charming accent
• They don't like to queue, so basically there is no queuing system here... just try to get through FIRST!
• Very very religious, most of them at least
• And..,.. they drive like CRAZY!

Today I became Maltese, got my Maltese ID Card! :)

So healthy these days!

This is my new gym/pool! It's so nice and it is between the Uni and our house, so perfect! The pool is huge and outside, open all year... I mean that wouldn't even be possible during summertime in Ireland ;)

Just can't get enough!

Went to Valletta again today to apply for my Maltese ID card. There were loads of expats there planning to do the same thing. Anyway, wasn't able to get it since I forgot the proof of marriage paper at home so I will need to go again tomorrow... I really don't mind, I am in love with Valletta, so beautiful little old town!

What? No Primark??

Yesterday I went to Valletta! Need some more summer clothes but I couldn't find any "normal" shops like H&M and Primark haha... found out they don't exist here on Malta, they only have trendy expensive Italian fashion shops! Valletta was very beautiful though, so it was worth the trip :)

First Day!

Had my first day at the University today, oh my... I felt so old! Apparently they start university when they are 16 here, so yes they are still growing!!! They are kids! Anyway, felt good, still have to meet my class, hopefully there will be some mature internationals there... :)
