It was a very long trip and I am still pretty exhausted but at least I am safe and sound in Huanchaco!
The place is just wonderful... it's almost like a mix between Rasta and Inka, it has a nice vibe.
The 9 hour bus ride from Lima to Trujillo was also very nice, driving along the sand mountains but you could really see how poor the people are. Their houses are more like sheds and in there small gardens there are kids playing, mothers washing clothes and cows, horses, donkeys and sheep are also living there together.
I still haven't been able to get hold of a simcard/ phone but I hope I will manage to do that today.
At the moment I am in a family hostel, really sweet old lady that is running it and she likes to talk and she just laugh when she understands that I don't understand her and then she keeps on talking... yeah I really need to learn Spanish and now.
Hopefully I will move to the hostel that I plan to stay for 2 months today, haven't seen it yet but it was warmly recommended by a friend...
Now I am off to the Intruduction at Otra Cosa!
