A very big change in 2 seconds

You never really know what can happen in life.... In September me and Jaap packed our bags and moved to Mallorca, we were gonna work on a superyacht together. We arrived all excited in Palma and spent 4 days walking around, drinking beers and get to know the ¨yachting people¨ on the fourth day we decided to rent a scooter to go around to the yacht agencies. The guy in the scooter did not even provide us with helmets, luckely I asked for them.

The end result of renting this freaking scooter was:

• Traumatic Brain Injury


• Three fractures in my left leg


• Stitches all over my face and shoulder


• 9 screws and 1 plate in my ankle
  

On top of all this I had to lie 10 days in a hospital were NOBODY spoke english, and since my spanish is not too good it was pretty hard.

Anyway I was very lucky to survive and I was very lucky to have the best boyfriend in the world by my side all the time. He has been the best! Thank you Jaap! He did not leave the hospital in 10 days, he was sleeping next to my bed, wiping me after pipi and kaka ( I was not able to go to the toilet )

Now it has been almost 2 months and my cast has just been removed, but I will not be able to walk for a few months, so after a lot of nintendo playing I decided to create a blog, wehoooo.

Atleast I can now go to the toilet myself, with the crutches ofcourse.
I miss my poor little Jaap, feel sorry for him now. So many sad things has happened lately. But that is life, a little bit hard sometimes and it can change in seconds.....
